Wes has been tapping his feet to the beat since he was born, but it wasn’t until he was 15 that he started singing in bands. From 1994-1997, Wes was the lead singer of a very talented young band called Gypsy Fly. After the band broke up, Wes went on to become a solo acoustic guitar / vocal artist performing in local lounges, restaurants and night clubs all over Vancouver. In the fall of 2002, Wes pulled together some of his favourite musicians to form The Little Brother Band. With influences such as Van Morrison, Don Henley, Marvin Gaye, Prince and many more, Wes constantly challenges himself as a vocalist and as a lyricist. He writes lyrics that challenge his listeners to address the things that really matter and music that uplifts the soul. Wes plans to continue entertaining his audiences for many years to come.
