Three Row Barley, the best Canadian Celtic band around, belting out that 'Maximum Celtic'. Thundering vocals, sizzling fiddle and enough presence to pull you right up onto the table-top. Led by Roger Buston (formerly of top local band The Quenchers), Three Row Barley specializes in a great time and organic vocal harmony from Roger (lollopin' guitar and vocal), and Brian Taylor (rumblin' bodhran and vocal), with Chris Williscroft (thumpin' bass and mandolin) rounding out the sound. Fiddle duties covered off by some of Vancouver's best-known names, such as 'Dangerous' Mary Brunner out of Copper Sky, Jenny Bice from Prydwen and White Rock's own Avery Yackel. Lorne Warr of The Streels adds great banjo, mandolin and traditional vocals to this rich mixture.
